Why
Thoughts slumber in the summer wind A lazy fan's shadow turns on the wall In a gym where people forget things The day empties out by baking outside I happily float through a blue window Gazing up from the bench in a corner I remember a scene where a mother Chases her child circling a sand pit Around a red slide with little steps Until the kid runs into daddy's arms Laughing and screaming all the way Reveling at doing it again and again I blinked my eyes and time passed by With life and the autumn moon rising The window is black now and insects Pulse around a white light above it Like a neuron, the mind is on edge Waiting for inhibition or excitement Much energy is spent on expectation So what life is defined by is found Not by the knowing of random facts But by simply being a feeling thing Craved by the cosmos since its start So as to be captivated by crickets

What are words without understanding and what is understanding without sense?
