A child needs care So it is not fair To let him live in the street And let him walk bared feet A child is in need for our merciful hearts He needs to show his talents and arts A child is the symbol of innocence So where is your sense When you let him suffer And sleep under bridges or over sub-ways with no cover Have mercy in your heart And always remember that a child is life’s greatest part It is a very painful view When I, she, he, and you See a child wandering in the street Selling tissues in the sun’s heat Will you have some mercy in your heart And care for the children, so let’s start Let’s help those innocent souls And make them achieve their goals
