A Cry For Help
She walks down the hall all alone, he wouldnt come with her. You can hear her shoes lightly tap the ground, the sound eckos off the wall. Her skirts flutter around her ankles and brush the tile floor. Stopping at a white door she reaches for the handle, the steel is cold on her clamy palms. Inhaling a deep breath she closes her eyes..... forcing back a single tear she opens the door. I am only 16, i am not ready for this, she silently tells her nerves, but they still run wild. An hour later she lays on the cold table, A docter is talking to her but she cant understand him. Things are moving to fast as her world twists and turns. From no where she hears a small voice but cant make out the words. It cries to her, she has to help it!! Where is it coming from?? She screams frantically looking for the thing making this heart wrenching sound, The docters just stare at her. She pleads for them to help her, She tells them a child is in trouble......... Suddenly she feels a pain in her stomach...looks down...finds the voice..... Her unborn child needs help, she has drown out this cry to long... No more can she ignore her child...no more...... this poem is about abortion and i dont no how everyone else feels about it but i dont beleive in abortions unless the pregnancy was not at all your fault... like if you got raped, i am sorry if this poem offends you or your religon.. thank you.
