A curious kind
We’re such a curious damn kind: No matter where we are in life, We’re never fully satisfied. Without much thought to really why, We fight and scheme to get ahead - We’re such a curious damn kind. We never take time to delight In what we worked so hard to get - We’re never fully satisfied. Instead we live in futile fright That someone else will claim our prize - We’re such a curious damn kind. And once we win our useless fight, We just find something we want more - We’re never fully satisfied. Oh, what a self-inflicted plight To climb a mountain of life And yet be never satisfied - We’re such a curious damn kind.
