A dawn...at dusk...

From home I dwell... to muddy path, Up in hill…in a lonely part, House sat still…with smoking lot, With orange fill…full sky is lit, Birds in thrill…back to nest, Heart has will…to hold this fest, Stood there still…in evening bliss. All so well…like crafty art, Then she came…out to the lawn, Words so full….with magic thought. My legs drag close…in little throw, Gazing her eyes…tracing my toe, Raised her face…and said in flow, “Words I say Can mean no more Love you my dear Can’t wait no more” Out in fear…down with tear, Hugging so tight…she cried in my ear, “I love you my dear…Yet took you so long” Sat in row…holding hands, As sun sank low…in distant sands, Her head lay slow…in my shoulder below.
