A Different Perspective

A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE I’m a lemon with a twist I’m a dewdrop full of mist I’m a child filled with bliss I’m but a gentle kiss I’m invisible but I show I’m a burnt out lamp that still glows I’m bold though you may not know I’m a horn that does not blow I’m used but still brand new I’m a mystery without a clue I’m false but forever true I’m myself and also you I’m with the flowers opening their buds I don’t fight with fists but with hugs I’m a push without the shove Creeping softly I am ~LOVE~ I’m deaf but I can also hear I’m afraid but yet I have no fear I’m forever constant throughout the year I’m smart and my actions make it clear I hear the cry of the boy saying his prayers I see the hearts of millions set up in flares I taste the bitter words and nasty stares I watch over the teenager who thinks no one cares I’m with the man living in strife I’m with the husband who lost his wife I’m preventing tragedy for the man holding the knife Creeping slowly I am ~LIFE~
