A Dreamers Prayer

Whenever you're in trouble and the world seems to put you down You start to fall and tumble over your problems all around When all you can do is cry all you can do is scream Just sit tight and close your eyes and enter the world of your dreams For they can't stop you from dreaming of better days to come They can't stop you from believing that the battle has just begun For when you have gained so many scars and you've prayed yourself through the worst so far so far Stand firm for your saving grace will be the sanctuary found in all of your listless dreams I can't say that the situation will ever get better or that your broken heart will be redeemed All i can tell you is that in times of turmoil close your eyes pray, and just dream
