A FRIEND INDEED! 
Love’s not the way to treat a friend 
You wouldn’t let a friend face a love not returned 
I don’t want to look a friend in the eye 
Knowing that tomorrow he will leave me too. 
Love’s not the way to treat a friend 
I don’t want to see what happens next 
With your body being shared by a stranger 
Someone you only just met 
Love’s not a way to treat a friend 
There are so many other things you could wish for me 
Than to see me slowly waste away 
With these feelings of want and need 
Hey, that’s no way to treat a friend indeed!
