A Gesture for an Eternity
Your health is failing, You don’t take care of yourself, Talking of memories with my family But what I don’t hear you saying Is you want them for yourself, There is so much more to say But this may be your last summer So instead it became… Yes ma’am yes ma’am What ever you wish, We will spend the money on the restaurant With the expensive imported fish It’s all my fault, Even though you don’t know what your talking about, But I won’t complain While you sit there and shout! I’ll take them where you say While you sit there and watch, So you can make special memories Though you weren’t a part. I want to tell you where to go But I don’t want this to be Your last big family memory, So I’ll just vent my thoughts For these strangers I know, And let you believe You have taught the truth to me, My pain doesn’t matter, What’s important in my miserable life, Is the smiles of both my son and my wife, If I fight with you Their hearts will be crushed, The fond memories of this trip Will be surely hushed, Buried beneath me being mean So I do my best to give A gesture for an eternity.

Mental Journey
I am on a journey of the mind. Contemplating the universe on every scale, and doing a complete introspective exploration. I may never be a literary academic, but I share my humble thoughts in hope that they may inspire others.
