A Greyhounds Plea

"It wasn't me, it wasn't me!" How can you lie, you were there to see. I lay abandoned and you turned away, How much pain did i fail to convey? And you made excuses whilst i lay sore, "I'm not a criminal!" Who do i suffer for? I trusted you and you killed that trust. How many screams now lie in the dust? How many bones now litter your soul? Or do you not have one, just a black hole? Did I not chase hard enough, why? "It wasn't me!" Oh, what a lie! I smelt death and you just laugh, How many others have been down my path? Rot in your cell, my beloved master. Now for you and no other i will never run faster. daisy 09
