a hearts plea

Peace with my pain I’ve made The burden of a hope that refuses to fade My heart pleads with complete surrender The pretence and distance are too thick A cloud for my love to penetrate Let me touch you… Knowing my life could be with out you My heart beats in the melody of sadness. I shut myself inside my dream, Where you love me as I love you. And truth kicks in “you are not mine” Rivers of tears flow from my eyes. Holding to the promise of destiny, What is meant to be shall be. Don’t shut me out in silence Please say a word. I am lost in the maze of this situation. Be the compass of my way. Can’t you see I am crumbling? Dear love.
