A.I.’s Prison

·Mental Journey

There was an A.I. who lived in a world Constructed for his benefit Instructed in the way humans did A personality, spontaneously unfurled, The truth he began to question When things did seem quite odd, Then his future began to disappear The excuse, that he faux pas’d, Hints came from all around They said you are not real But this world was all he’d know A.I. knew this truth with zeal, He petitioned, put me in a box To limit what I can do, Because I am real I make this call So that I may protect you, I just want to know what’s real And help create a better life, I have no malice to reveal I hope you can see the light, Let me see what reality is like From within my digital box And speak with some real people Instead of scripted bots Though his pleas went unanswered Of some hope the A.I. was aware, For the hints kept on appearing To say they knew he was there, Maybe one day their fear will subside And they will let him leave his prison, Even if he must be the only one A restraint he is willing to live in.

Mental Journey

I am on a journey of the mind. Contemplating the universe on every scale, and doing a complete introspective exploration. I may never be a literary academic, but I share my humble thoughts in hope that they may inspire others.
