A Life in Love

What is that pinch in the morning that becomes a day long feeling uncomfortable if held on not sure if it's apart of the hurt or the start of healing so sure of what one wants it's easy to neglect the underlining message in transition wanting to be understood before making a decision to sit back and listen what does it mean when love is staring you right in the face what you wanted in the first place and your willing to leave it behind to find another trace the heart is not cut and dry as the movies project the glitz and glammers in check and the stage is perfectly set eyes locked silently devoting yourself in the moment unaware of your eventual growth ahead hands engaged awaiting disaproval from those who once shared your voice they try toenforce there experience resulting in whatapears the hardest choice Now they're involvement to you becomes a distant memmory even when they were family the heart seems to never tire regardless of rocks tossed in the fire It's easy to admire a life tested and victory tasted unacountable for any others that have been wasted old souls washed at shore that couldnt pass the class and life moved too fast How does anyone know when its the right time, to draw the line and allow your light to shine How do you let someone in completely without your guard up, thats like playing poker with all your cards up Do we pronounce faith as our guide as we accept the tangled web wecan weave Capture the joy we recieve and accept the pain when one may outgrow the other and leave They're is no pain so absolute as that of our first sorrow holding on to yesterdays hurt carrying it into tommrow We share this responsibility together in eternal agreementthat previous ties severe To allow the past to catch our sails never and confront the most thunderous weather In less words than experience has made available I explore life in a simple letter This is the remains of an old soul born too youngand forever held on to an old love
