A lone wolf

A lone wolf A lone wolf is howling upon a hill Whilst the rest of his pack head in for the kill The moon silhouettes his solitary figure against the night sky As he breaks the silence with his haunting cry Crying for things lost, friends in danger For all things forgotten, a lonely stranger He is a leader, must guide the rest In return he'll get females that are the best He cries for his brother long ago dead For the feeble, so scarcely fed He wishes things were better, that the night wasn't so cold That the young ones would listen and do what they're told If it was so, that food was served on a plate This howling wolf would have a very different fate.
