A loss we can all relate to

Over a period of three years this love of their's has grown and been moulded into something that they cannot forget Nothing could stand in their way They declared their love from day to day He once said to her :"How clear the day,how bright the sun,if you and I were only one" To each other,they were the One Oh but how cruel this life can be can it quickly and violently bring one to one's knee She tells him the news he thought he would never hear She tells him with tears in her eyes that she has to go,somewhere he cannot follow,his eyes too fills with tears This same heart that was solid and strong with love,now was shattered and weak The bright sun has vanished,the day lost its clarity His life now hollow,feeling that he has achieved nothing and loved no one In the ongoing struggle between sadness and happiness, it was love,that had to give way
