The bard that saw beyond the mask Was not strong enough to take the task To grab thy hand and pull you free So you shall sink beneath the sea. In the darkness you shall drown Tears unseen and void of sound, And pouty lips that use to frown Shall pale and wither fathoms down. For ‘twas beauty that led to bay The heart blinded on that day, Hollow looks with better disguise Than the truth of the elder, noble, wise. So this bard shall sing once more As he walks from this accursed shore To waste not time nor tear nor heart As in the depths you’re ripped apart.
