A Moment Neglected

It was just one of those days. When the world seems perfect. The Sun softly shining down on bare flesh, crystal waters rippling at only a hint of a breeze, distant voices shouting muted greetings as birds twittered in the soft shadows. Frolicking within the gentle swaying of those old blue gums. Not an artificial sound polluted the air, how lucky could I have been? Well maybe I could have been luckier, because I was too busy to notice.
