A Part Of My Life

I was brought up by loving parents who where strict but fair Yes I did put them to shame By committing crime over and over again It was hard for them for they where honest people I would not follow rules or I would take offence when told what to do Nor was I willing or abide to go to school So the few times that I went I would disrupt the lessons By acting the fool I found a way to educate myself On the streets where crime was rife in Liverpool Between being chased by the police over some warrant or other I would read a book on a subject and then another Yes my writing and grammar are below the average But I can recite the law more than a policeman with a badge The more my reputation was built around being able to handle myself The higher I climbed up the organised criminal ladder The more the jealousy pot was on the boil And some of my co-conspirators wanted my body to go cold in my graves soil Which put my mind in paranoid mode I could tell you what cars are behind my car on the road Yes that dreaded day did come I was driving slowly down a road Then pop pop pop a younger man filled my car with 9mm wholes This was the second time a attempt was made on my life The last time it was my best friend who lost his life So if there is a moral to this write Its go to school and stay away from crime and do what's right Get a career and live a life without any paranoia fear

I have a mental health illness and I was a inpatient in a private secure mental health hospital not because i was a danger to the public but because i myself was the only person who was in danger from me was myself and that will reflect in my poetry...
