A Plague of Angels

15 Aug 2009

·Missy

There was a plague A plague of angels That flew across my mind Dancing through my dreams As I slept last night Slipping through my conscience And then slipping out again Fluttering across my eyelids Reaching out and then, Singing, crying Spinning round and round Falling, flying Screaming without a sound Broken wings And broken hearts Lost smiles and Forgotten harps Nothing to do but disappear Forget those angels for They were never really here.
