A Polar Moment
A Polar Moment There it was, In majestic beauty. A landscape of reds, Displaying the spirit. Of a culture, A people and race. I closed my eyes, listened, To the aura borealis. The howls of erased times, And the polar bear walking. Across the icy plains, If he met my gaze. All would be lost, The raised spirit would, Plummet and the red landscape. Would turn white, And that bear would be my death. June 07 Sheena Allen
