Luis Miguel-son without even a birthday death choked from my womb. For you no tombstone nor burial, only grief -this mother's mourning. "Eye for eye" it's said then why 4 dead? I ask God -no answer comes yet. Wisdom to me came not through some odd nirvana but blood and pain. To live modestly that is all I can ask now no splendorous dreams. Lofty skyscrapers of central Colorado -my current refuge. * These where written some years ago, and are about miscarriage. But the poems evolve through depression, to healing and the stages in-between.
