A song to my Mom
I know God gave me an angel the day I was born She wrapped her arms around me and kept me warm. She watched over me the long, sleepless nights With her tender touch, she'd make everything right. Momma, I miss you and I wish you were here Just to see your sweet smile and wipe away my tears I know you are in heaven, your watching over me Oh Momma I pray that one day with you I will be. You helped me to walk; picked me up when I fell You healed all my bruises and made everything well Momma, I struggled and did all things wrong But You taught me well and I learned to be strong. I cherish all these things you showed me in life I became brave and I learned to survive. When you left, you left me in God's hand Because of you, I am who I am!
