A Sonnet for a Satellite
As dawn begins to herald the break of day And darkness put to flight, A tiny light now drifts across the sky And slowly fades from sight. A glittering diamond, oh, so faint and dim - A presence in transition: My eyes I focus – just a passing whim? For me - a brief suspicion? I look towards the east; how faint you are, What manner of being are you? Slowly, gently consumed by dawning day, What then? - I wish I knew. If nothing remains, can it be – That nothing is real I cannot see? 7 October 2015

Love creativity - especially writing - poems especially. Love my wife, cats, our church, reading, warm weather (so rare here!) and snow - quite common these days - even in spring....
