A sonnet while I wait
I wrote this piece and a haiku while waiting for an English exam to be over. Lemme know what y'all think, to clean and tighten it up. Lingered thoughts of days slipped by Crying verses to nymphs in streams Magic versions to the eye Flood to me in silent dreams. On the stream the light shall dance Make the fairies laugh and sing Behold your mind locked in trance Or else you would not see a thing. The flute of Pan shall make tunes Chimes shall flutter on the breeze Oracles toss mystic runes In the shade of the willow trees. Gone before those that close their sight For them the magic is dead tonight.
