A Trio of Haiku

These are from a short collection of my haikus, I named it "Haikus- The Honeyed and the Horrific" Although they all adhere to the traditional sylable count and 3- line format, the themes are only serene in these first few. I also write of depression, the plight of veterans and miscarriage. I will be posting all bit by bit- I wanted to experiment with this form and go for the out-of the ordinary much like the poet Etheridge Knight who wrote haiku on some "different" topics. Dawn and I watch smoke bluish, rising- factories on the horizon. Green and yellow birds- parakeets chirping gaily thus, morning begins. Amber sky at dusk I still wait on my husband what mood will he bring?
