A Vacant Chair
A vacant chair is a thing, one should never ignore For there must be some reasoning, as to why it is in the said state mentioned afore There is something quite unsociable, in the vacancy of a chair Unless it be made sociable, by persons enticed to sit there Could it be that by mischance, it gave out a suspect squeak And brought rumours of a sitters flatulence, causing surrounding pedestrians to speak Or was it after a drunkards rebuffle (at which point he leant on the chair as not to sway) Then during the ensuing scuffle, It was moved aside then forgotten, after afore mentioned fray A vacant chair is a thing, one should never ignore Because there is no way of guessing, who occupied it before
