A World at Peace
Yesterday I caught a glimpse of a world I don’t know. A world at peace. Just for an instant I saw blue skies, white cotton clouds, a fatherly sun lovingly stroking the earth, blue, deep blue waters of the sea and hills so green and crisp I could taste them. I felt at peace with the icy, fresh breeze tugging at my sleeves, In contrast to the sun warming my aching joints. The deep smell of clean air. A wonderful healthy feeling of being alive. Just being alive. I closed my eyes to experience this bliss because I knew it couldn’t last long. Midway through my meditation I was blasted back into reality. Robots green. Must move. I put my car into first and continued along my way.
