Above The Rim (Still I Rise)
You dig hollow holes On the road I walk on Hoping that I might fall But I rise You throw stones at me Trying to create a bridge Between me and my dreams But still I rise Enemies throw punches at me Trying to bring me down But I get up I rise Grabbing my throat, strangling me Pinning me down with challenges Shooting me full of obstacles But I be willing, I rise still Sucking the living out of me Making it hard for me to breathe Trying your best to kill me But my spirit never dies! Above The Rim, Still I Rise!
