Adam and Eve's Story
God spoke his piece to Adam and Eve "Whatever you do, don't touch that tree. "If you do you're doomed to die" The serpent told Eve "That's a lie." "You must have your five a day "Just eat that fruit without delay." They did, then saw that they were bare Before they hadn't known to care. When God came round them on that night, They hid and cowered from His sight. "Have you eaten from that tree? Adam fessed "Eve gave it me." Eve said "The serpent played a trick "He said no fruit could make me sick." "I ate and then gave Adam some, "I didn't know what I had done." God said "Iv'e had a trying day But I must act for I'm dismayed. "Iv'e cursed you humans for all time Which end in death - you've crossed the line. "Women will suffer pain with birth, "And I have even cursed the earth. "You'll strive to grow and cultivate, "Your crops will sometimes dissipate. "Now you know the way I do, "I'll give you clothes to see you through. "You can't undo what you have done And Eden cannot be your home." I
