Against such tender thoughts She coats her heart with steel, When all she really thinks about Is how he makes her feel. Her tender love coils inward Sealed within her heart, Protected by a shield He cannot pull apart. The storming clouds pass overhead And lure her eyes away, To hide the pain of anguish As he takes himself away Therein lies the answer That only time reveals so sad and melancholy all alone again she feels

I have been writing poetry and fiction for several years now. It is truely one of my great pleasures in life to create beauty with words.
