Adulthood

There's something about childhood, makes me want to stay. Maybe it's the unhurriedness; the not knowing, the not caring. Of being afraid of harmless things, even less frightened to cry. Something enchanting about childhood that can't be waved away. Maybe it's the innocence that weaves magic into quests Or could it be the wonders of foetal minds drab reality cannot erase? It peers unabashed, smiling at little secrets, laughing bravely at life! ....Just this something about childhood. I go kicking, fighting into adulthood.
