Grey ribbons near all that you left Your unnecessary bequest Grey ribbons and clear waters I now join as my friends Grey ribbons distract me Dark judgment, lost expectations, Distaste in my mouth Icy Clear waters invigorating, compulsive Do numb out the pain I recoil my head with the strength of your savor Tampered emotions, anesthetizing the ache Grey ribbons float to the heavens so pretty your evil masquerade, Ironic similarity to you my plight, Intoxicating yet toxic the apple of my eye In grey ribbons and clear waters I find comfort, At least for a while and though your no good for me my unstable comrades I will take what you offer in lieu of my loss Pretty grey ribbons and numbing clear waters Now take your place since weve reached the end. Ive just written rewritten mulled over chewed and rewitten so many times with this but i think it conveys what im trying to say, open to suggestion.
