All I can be is me
I don’t have a fat bank account I don’t drive a fancy car I don’t live in a mansion house So if that’s not enough Get out of my life And close the door behind (you!) I’m just a guy from the township Who’s been faced with a lot of hardships Striving and never giving in I’m trying to make a living So leave me alone if aren’t happy with what you’re getting What you get is what you see What you get out is what you put in So you better like me for me Cause I can’t pretend to be Someone that you’d like me to be I don’t believe in material things I believe in the power installed within So if you’re not with me You’d better start moving (away) Or else I’ll personally make you leave! © Zux. 2005.
