All or Nothing
All or nothing A concept foreign to most You think you can control the flow Build a dam and sluice Let out only what you want, But not all rivers can be controlled, This river flows strong It looks different, scares people, They try to control it But it’s not theirs to control They release a trickle To test the water But the flow bursts forth It inundates them The new dam has no outlet Let it find another way The pressure forces the water down It burrows and seeps, until… Explosion onto another path Only to scare those it finds, What will happen when the last path is blocked When the pressure is too great to contain If only they had known Damming the river only makes it worse Let it flow. Its occasional flood brings fertile soil If only they could learn to accept its gift

Mental Journey
I am on a journey of the mind. Contemplating the universe on every scale, and doing a complete introspective exploration. I may never be a literary academic, but I share my humble thoughts in hope that they may inspire others.
