Alone
We're never alone, even when no one's around. You're always somewhere else, hoping we're not found. Well let me tell you a secret, one you'll love to hear. I sent everyone away, to take away your fear. I know you can't be seen, not while talking to me. Because it is what you desire, that is how it shall be. Now we're here, just me with you. Yet you're still acting strange, just tell me what to do. For I am your servant, you pay me when you smile. When was the last time tats happened? I know, its been a while. Since your friend caught us, you' had leaned in to kiss me that day. When your friend arrived you pushed me aside, and said "get out of my way." Of course I forgave you, and you know i always will. All you have to do is apologize, come on, you know the drill. Now you tell me you need space, some time alone to think. But i see the way you look at her, and when she smiles, you wink. Why wouldn't you like her? She's popular and pretty. You'd never choose me over her, not even out of pity. So I agree to give you space, you smile and walk away. And now i'm truly alone, 'cause we haven't spoken since that day.
