Alone
Alone, I observe Dawn to Dusk, Summer to Fall, always unheard. Alone I leave nothing, to signifiy I was there, here, or drifiting along... No weight to my step No sound true and pure, for I have watched the oceans churn; alone. Oh when the Moon is obscured, or how the trees wail in the virgin grove! All of this I have loved alone; wishing, waiting, for someone to stir... Something persists in the blaze of the world, a silent thing that lies in wait to unfurl... when one is alone.
