America I don’t care about the diss or the piss in your face I care about what you hear what I put in your ear Maybe leave a little knowledge there Don’t be so busy trying to diss me If you even had a clue that what you do Is a downright shamethe same old game Singing the same ole same ole it's getting old Already been told Most of it sold Im a brake the mold So listen & hear me don’t fear me Im a say it clearly Slowly Just one time If youre gonna rhyme then rhyme With something more meaningful Than just a mouthful Of the mumbo jumbo that you call a gift Shift into this consciousness Where one becomes all & all becomes one No more separation We should be congregating Using our voice to make a difference One little voice shouted to the crowd One little voice was oh so loud Ten little voices shouted to the crowd Those little voices were oh so loud One million voices shouting to the crowd & so & so on One consciousness fighting to change Rearrange the way things are going It’s showing The way you’re looking at me Im looking at you Like what the hell we gonna do All I can say is we start by helping someone today Spread a little love go a long way We’re all in this together Whether you like it or not Whether I’m bad Whether I’m not At least you heard me I hope you feel me & we could ensue community again Get rid of the scum that sits on the rim Pushing a pen taxing again The wrong politician in Washington In state In congress legislation Fulfill a bill for the will of the people All the little people Of this world Maybe then maybe Peoples’ be less likely To be so crazy To be so shady Hungry Fighting for their lives Whatever happened to an honest living you can’t even live off the wages you’re earning Inflation Hidden control Global slavery Sucking your soul While the ones on top hold all the gold The rich get richer the poor get poorer America America Land of what opportunity You’ve been stripped From the greed of leaders America America Shout it out loud We the people are America Use your voice people.
