Amongst the Reeds

·Mayhems Maiden

Laying amongst the reeds I wonder will he look back upon his deeds. my eyes reflect the cold pale moon I ponder if someone will walk by soon I still lie here, its not been long my heart full of fear, his hands were strong a single tear, as he done me wrong a final echo my swansong Laying here amongst the reeds cold lapping water, and dandelion seeds, though it is now over, I wont forget vengeance is mine against he who took my last breath. I was twenty six when you took my life I was a mother I was a wife I was a sister, I was a daughter then a scared little girl held down in dirty canal water I had a mother, she was my best friend she was there in the beginning, but it was you at the end you still walk among them, nobody knows your the one but I will have justice, I wont rest til its done. .............................
