An Autumn Visit
The power of Autumn rose in the air As the harvest moon took to the sky And in awesome majesty loomed over The onlookers meandering down below The silhouettes of trees stood tall Framing the familiar streets I walk And as the atmosphere of the season Filled me to the brim, I wondered And asked myself if I have seen life Is it perhaps hiding in the grass Or is it a thing of an open heart? And then the night revealed it to me
