An Endless Fall
If only I had known about the light I would have pursued the storm much sooner. Not only to prove a point, but to renew, Now that I know I knew not. Living a dead man, I had embraced death. Lying to myself, I witnessed its birth. On the hilltop I stood and shouted, Over and below the deepest seas I shouted. Only the brave could dare to come out, Out to pursue the harsh winds, rains and the cold. My heart gave birth to a spirit that would control me. Many have tried to break free, when submission was the only key. Holy is the spirit that held me in place, Holding me so tightly, I could not shake loose. Hiding was not an option for it also gave me a hiding. Honor is all I could feel after embracing it. Make me whole just one more time and free me from Mind-convulsing thoughts that choke me all day long. Only if I were as brave as on that day, Out of my dark well, I would climb again. On my knees I would shake uncontrollably, Only to be caught in the excitement once more. Love I found a friend in you, a friend who lied, Lying just because I could not believe your sweet words. Never again will I deny such emotions Now I know what to do. I have learned to be patient and I am willing to fall endlessly, falling in love.
