ANGEL

*** This is one of those really corny poems :) - Something I wrote for my hubby and red to him on our wedding day.*** God knows us all, like the palm of his hand, so He must have known just when to send me the perfect man. I was alone and feeling afraid, but He sent me an angel, one He knew I would love and obey. From the moment I met him, I was sure that he was true, And in one single kiss from him, I could tell that he would see me through. I felt in his arms that he loved me, but I saw in his eyes he's been hurt. So I promised to take him into my heart, and give him all that he deserves. I vowed to always love him, and I knew I always would. Because in return he loves me, like only Angels could. He lights up my life with one single smile, and I know I could never live without him, even if the world could show me how. To me he is precious, and to me he is dear, and today I give myself to him, without an ounce of fear. I know our love he'll cherish and I know he'll never let me fall. For God gave me an angel, THE MOST PRECIOUS ONE OF ALL!!
