Angel on the Dawn Angel on the Dawn, Set them all ablaze, All the braziers from here to sunset. Let their warmth, Bring me dewdrops, That can wash my tears away. Bring forth this new day, Let thyself glisten, High in the serenity of this morning sky. Draped in a gown of red, Held in the caressing arms, Of your orange lover, Before he recedes under the ocean, At this day’s end, Until you wake again.
