Another Day Gone

This is only the third poem i have ever written. Just picked up a pen and wrote down some stuff one day and got interested in writing. Another day gone More soldiers dying More families crying But orders keep flying Why do you send This countries sons To fight for a cause That can never be won Why do they fight for you While you sit at home And their over seas Scared and alone Stop all the crying Stop all the war Stop all the dying Before more lives are torn So bring those men home Give war a rest Dont send them back This is for the best.
