Answering My Own Questions
Never quite understood How all these people Stay put in one place Growing roots, and families And seemingly missing, A sunny afternoon at the office Been thinking a lot Of these roads And the cars going the other direction Who was that, Two streaming headlights We’ve wondered a while How long those mountains have been there Six thousand years And there ain’t no telling How much longer they’ll stand up Until the sun don’t rise no more I’ll ask the questions And I’ll make up the answers Cause who really knows the difference
