I am captive in my mind, screaming behind eyes, my mouth betrays with manufactured laughter to drown out the bitterness "I can cheer you up" screams the world happy in their reveries of drunken stupor, smiling that passes by not infecting or encouraging the shadows are my sanctuary, away from creatures of pure sunlight, diffusing each line and dark circle into a face of placidity have I found what I sent out? or is such hope lying too much on the edge like some murderous game from a ref like Karma? shall I be free of the voices and walk around, the living dead, or face the dark hatred and and drown my being in nicotine?
