Apple
Adam lay bound, bound in bond For a thousand winters he thought were not too long And all was for an apple, an apple that he took As clerics now find written in their book But if the apple had not been taken, or had it never been We'd never have had our lady, heavens queen So blessed be the time was the apple taken Therefore we sing, God is gracious Thus we pray that at the end times Our souls by God will be taken
