April Runner
I see you running through a spring meadow, wildflowers flying up from your heels, blond hair trailing after you like a wedding train, your eyes narrowed, framed by smile lines, lips parted to kiss the breeze, deep breathy pants, small creatures of the meadow making way for your urgency, and in the distance I see myself, but I can’t tell whether you’re running toward me or away.
