"Arrivederci"

"Arrivederci" The captain sailed his cruise ship, in waters close to shore. His ego was a driving force, and safety measures were ignored. When suddenly, it happened, the liner ran aground. A jagged reef had gouged the hull, and made an awful sound. The cruiser started listing, and soon began to lean. The passengers were panicky, it was a frightful scene. People started screaming, and jumping in the sea. Some of them tried swimming, they wanted to get free. Had they been instructed, for this emergency? The captain must have had a plan, to lead them to safety. They awaited word from him, he'd surely calm their fears. Everyone was frightened, and many shed their tears. Their captain had a plan all right, but wouldn't make it known. He'd opted to abandon ship......and leave them on their own...............
