*I really need an honest opinion on this one, and criticism would be more welcomed than praise! Alone All alone In my bed I lie All alone Darkness all around me Street lights reflecting on my wall An illusion of something that is never there Illusions Life is an illusion Reflecting on my wall On my wall are memories Of a never existing lifetime Lived only by me In it I was the Hero The Victim And the Author An illusion that is felt But only by me Only I could feel the Pain Only I could feel the warmth Cold, lifeless warmth Yet another illusion Reflecting on my wall Alone All alone In the Darkness The illusion in real It thrives in the Darkness It feeds on lonliness And confuses the memories on my wall Oh memories! How I wish you were real! As real as warm bright rays of sunlight! But how can I know of warm sunlight? When I lie here in the Darkness Alone All alone...
