As He Creates, So He Destroys

·KZNFISHER

Entombed in a place where sins are sold, The premonition of a blackened sky I hold. Foot to the throat I battle to breathe, Voices of the dead I pray you to leave. Why couldn’t I lay thee down when death took its dominion, If I bleed, I bleed for you is the art of my contrition. Enlightened by cold with words that burn, Baptized in flame your leave I yearn. Your acid words the holocaust of my thought, The strain of failure I’ve continually fought. This godless endeavour when daylight falls, A puritanical beating of punishment calls. As embers arise from flames within, God is no friend of mine, Yet sacrifice to the slaughtered on my flesh you dine. Blessed through misery you worship only what I bleed, At the end of my rope your pendulous weight I need. Persona non grata you do ignore, I hunt for revenge your entrance I implore. In this dystopia alone you and I will talk, Rotting and burning in hell we will walk. In the language of the shadows my whispers are remembered, I wont be forgotten, our ties will be severed. People who read this understand not of my plea, But hope when you read this my words will be free.
